  • What is the difference between Camp Altitude and Weekend Altitude?
    Camp Altitude offers 2 summer session of a two-week traditional summer camp experience for children entering 6th, 7th and 8th grades with social cognitive challenges. Weekend Altitude Programs are weekend experiences throughout the school year for both children and their families.

  • Where are Camp Altitude and Weekend Altitude Programs located?
    Camp Altitude takes place on the campus of Notre Dame de Namur University in Bellmont, California. School year Weekend Altitude Programs take place at various summer camps and retreat centers near the Bay Area.

  • What is a typical day like at Camp Altitude?

  • Do I have to apply separately to work at both Camp Altitude and Weekend Altitude Programs?
    No, you only apply once, but please indicate if you are interested in Summer, weekend or both

  • What are the living arrangements at Camp?
    We live in dorms on the NDNU campus.  Dorm and roommate assignments are based on availability.

  • Can I receive college credit for my work at Altitude?
    Altitude can offer college and graduate level internships or practicum hours. Please talk to us to find out if your work at Altitude will satisfy the requirements of your particular situation.
