The Altitude Staff:

For both Camp Altitude and Weekend Altitude Programs, we are looking for university and graduate students with a passion for working with children. You must have completed at least one year of university and we are most interested in folks who are preparing for a career in psychology, education, special education, speech therapy or occupational therapy.

Our staff do not provide traditional “therapy,” but you play a critical role in a program that integrates a therapeutic approach to traditional summer camp and community living. Through your connections to campers and their families, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives, while working under the supervision of extraordinary professionals.

Our campers are boys and girls entering 6th, 7th and 8th grades. They are bright and loving children who have difficulties making social connections with their peers. We hope their experience at Altitude will help them develop both daily living skills as well as the ability to interpersonally connect with others – you can help make that happen!
